American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began with supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. Also, she played an important role in the FX's short-lived drama The Ex List. In the initial season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira and in the following season, she played Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She is a voice actor in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019she has been appearing as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10years old when her mother and sister moved to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year before finally setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she started to develop an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge returned to Los Angeles with the help from her mother around the age of 15.
