Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter in the UFC's flyweight division. Valentina is her elder sister, as well as a fellow UFC competitors. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sport career with a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and defeated Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an the unanimous vote. Antonina later won an award of Silver in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, and a Gold Medal in 2011 and in the IFMA 2016 Amateure Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia launched her professional career at the age of 23 in 2003. Antonina has been awarded numerous championships, including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tiedblad Keskikangas, who was fighting at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko made her professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She took the fight via TKO at the end of round 2 and the subsequent 2 matches were held at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and returned to the ring with Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous vote, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her superior striking abilities at the end of the fight by using knees on the body. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight following her first fight via an unanimous decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. This earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
